Meet The Coaches

Mary Purcell
L4 USA Archery NTS Coach, USA Archery Judge, L3 Coach Trainer, Certified 4-H Coach
Mary coaches compound, barebow, and recurve archers in both competitive and recreational settings, leading archers of all ages to podium at local, state, and national tournaments. She takes a holistic approach to coaching as she specializes in technical form development, problem-solving, and navigating the mental game. She loves connecting with archers as she helps them grow as both athletes and individuals. As a mom to her own competitive archers, she also loves helping parents learn how to navigate the sport and best support their elite athletes.

Emmie Purcell
L4 USA Archery NTS Coach, L2 Instructor Trainer, Certified 4-H Coach, Competitive Barebow & Compound Archer
In addition to being a competitive barebow and compound archer, Emmie coaches all bow types and age divisions, bringing a strong knowledge of form development, equipment adjustment, and tournament prep to the archers she serves. She loves helping new archers develop a passion for the sport, and established archers reach new levels of competition. As an archer, her most recent achievements include earning the titles of Collegiate Indoor National Champion, Highest Scoring Female Barebow at The Vegas Shoot, and Barebow Champion at the US Qualifier Salt Lake Summitt. Emmie is currently on scholarship at William Carey University and serves as an assistant coach.

Ellie Purcell
L4 USA NTS Coach, L2 Instructor Trainer, Certified 4-H Coach, Competitive Compound Archer
Ellie loves both coaching and shooting. As a competitive compound archer, she holds National medals in both 3D and outdoor target archery and has earned her Indoor USA Archery Gold Olympian Pin. Coaching all bow types and ages, challenging and encouraging her archers to shoot their best while keeping practices and training fun is her strong suit. She combines strong form, equipment, and mental techniques to best serve our archers. Ellie is currently on scholarship at William Carey University and holds the positions of team chaplain and assistant coach.

Come have a 1 on 1 lesson to work on form and technique! Whether you are just shooting for fun, or are looking to improve your skill for competing or hunting, private lessons are always a great option!

Designed for 2 archers, a semi-private lesson will have the close-knit feeling of a private lesson, with the price break of a group lesson!

The only thing better than shooting, is shooting with friends! Whether you put together your own group, or join an existing one, everybody loves the friendship (and financial) benefits of group lessons!
